FAQ: My nozzle stream is failing to rotate (Lasering).
ERIKC Answer:Check your pressure. For proper rotation, pressure for this nozzle should be set at a minimum of 800 PSI at nozzle. (1200 PSI Max.) Check inlet screen for debris. Clean and/or replace.make nozzle apart, check for clogs in the roter. Clean and/or replace. Nozzle may fail to rotate based on normal wear and tear. The cross holes on the nozzle inlet may have eroded due to particulate or high-acid reclaim water. Replace nozzle.
FAQ: What type of fuel can I use in my injector?
ERIKC Answer:Typically you can use just about any fuel in today’s injectors (see 2150cc exception below). While the injector will operate normally with just about any fuel, you do have to take some precautions with certain fuels.
FAQ: Is the Shark Injector tuned for any other upgrades?
ERIKC Answer:There are different Shark Injector files for different modierikcations. Generally speaking, the Shark Injector is compatible with standard “bolt-on” modierikcations such as a cold air intake or exhaust. Upgrades such as sport cams, headers, or larger air flow meters will work better with a special software file.
FAQ: What is base fuel pressure?
ERIKC Answer:Base fuel pressure is typically referred to as the pressure to which the fuel pressure regulator will set the start and idle fuel pressure in a particular fuel system.
Base pressure is important to us in the fuel injector industry and to tuners, since it is one of the factors that we use to define flow rate of the injectors, which in turn is something the ECU has to know to correctly meter the fuel delivered to the motor.
